Dr. Kahaleh is a Professor of Medicine, the Clinical Director of Gastroenterology, Chief of Endoscopy and Director Pancreas Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
He is the Founder and Director of both the Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound Society (TEUS) and Innovative Digestive Health Education and Research Inc. (IDHER); as well as one of the Founders and Directors of Foundation for Interventional and Therapeutic Endoscopy (FITE).
Dr. Amy Tyberg

Dr. Amy Tyberg is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Associate Director of Endoscopy, Director of Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and Associate Director of the Pancreas Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
She has contributed to over 90 publications and has been a co-investigator on multiple prospective and multicenter, international studies.

Dr. Gaidhane is an Associate Professor and the Advanced Endoscopy Research Program Director. 12 years of experience includes management of over 34 studies,105 publications and 175 abstracts. Coordinated and managed 14 Endoscopy Medical Education Conferences (in-person and virtual).
She is a Co-Founder and COO of both Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound Society (TEUS) and Innovative Digestive Health Education and Research Inc. (IDHER); as well as one of the Founders and Directors of Foundation for Interventional and Therapeutic Endoscopy (FITE).
Dr. Abdelhai Abdelqader

Dr. Abdelqader is an interventional endoscopist and board-certified gastroeneterologist with Florida Digestive Health Specialists (FDHS) in Sarasota, FL. He currently performs minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. These include ERCP, diagnostic EUS, interventional EUS, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) for Zenker’s, achalasia and gastroparesis, endoscopic suturing, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), transoral incisionless fundoplication (TIF), and luminal stenting.
He has interest in clinical research focused on minimally invasive techniques to help the various complex digestive diseases.
His clinical research consists of co-authoring 29 peer reviewed articles in the past 15 years.
Dr. Douglas Adler

Dr. Douglas G Adler is the Director of the Center for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy (CATE) at Centura Health in Denver Colorado. He is also a professor of medicine.
He is the author of more than 500 published papers and eight gastro-enterology textbooks. Dr. Adler's clinical interests involve all aspects of endoscopy with a focus on pancreatico-biliary disease and gastrointestinal malignancy
Dr. Amol Bapaye

Dr. Amol Bapaye is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist and Chief of Shivanand Desai Center for Digestive Disorders, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Center, Pune, India. He has been awarded FASGE, FJGES, FSGEI and FAIGE.
A surgeon by training, his clinical and research interests include advanced ERCP, interventional EUS, endoscopic resections including EMR / ESD, Third Space Endoscopy, and Endotherapy for GERD. Dr. Bapaye has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and conference papers and is the author and co-editor of the textbook – ‘Practical Handbook of Endoscopic Ultrasonography’.
Dr. Marc Barthet

Professor of universities, hospital doctor at APHM (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Marseille), Professor Marc Barthet is a specialist in hepatogastroenterology and digestive oncology at the Hôpital Nord de Marseille.
In January 2014, he led the gastroenterology team that reconstructed a patient’s esophagus without opening her chest or abdomen. This is a world premiere in Marseille.
Prof. Marc Barthet is now an international reference in the field of transluminal endoscopic surgery.

Jeremy Barber, DO, is a board-certified gastroenterologist. Dr. Barber earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He completed his internal medicine residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, and his gastroenterology fellowship with a focus in advanced endoscopy at Michigan Gastroenterology Institute in East Lansing. Dr. Barber's clinical interests include pancreaticobiliary disease, gastrointestinal oncology, endoscopic management of cancer and innovations in endoscopy.

Dr. Juan C Carames, MD, FASGE
Santander Hospital
Dr. Carames received his training in General Surgery and Endoscopy at the Juárez Hospital in Mexico and has continued his training in advanced interventional endoscopy in several countries including the United States and Japan.
He actively collaborates with Dr. Michel Kahaleh in the training of endoscopists in third space endoscopy and endoscopic suture. His practice focuses on the early detection of neoplasms of the digestive system as well as the treatment by third space endoscopy.

Dr. Minerva Carames is associated with the Advanced Endoscopy Center, in Reynosa, México. She has been Logistic Director of multiple international Advanced Endoscopy Courses in Mexico and Latin America together with Dr. Michel Kahaleh, training of endoscopists in third space endoscopy and endoscopic suture.
Dr. Kenneth Chang, MASGE, AGAF, FACG, FJGES

Dr. Chang is the founding Executive Director of the Chao Family Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center (CDDC) and the newly established Digestive Health Institute (DHI) at the University of California, Irvine. He is also Professor and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. For over three decades, Dr. Chang has focused his clinical research on developing and expanding the field of interventional gastrointestinal endoscopy with a specific focus on digestive malignancies and precancerous lesions.
Dr. Chang is an internationally recognized expert in GI malignancies and Barrett’s as well as in POEM in the treatment of Achalasia, ESD of early cancers and ESG for obesity. He is also an authority on Trans-oral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) in the treatment of GERD.
Dr. Rodrigo Duarte Chavez

Dr Duarte-Chavez obtained his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa in Mexico. He trained and practiced General Surgery at the Northwest National Medical Center in Sonora Mexico. Trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at St Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem Pennsylvania and in Advanced Endoscopy at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson medical school in New Brunswick New Jersey.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Currently he is an Advanced Endoscopist at St Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. He is also fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and French
Dr. Rabia DeLatour

Dr. de Latour is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, the Director of Endoscopy at Bellevue Hospital Center and an Associate Program Director for the NYU Gastroenterology Fellowship.
Dr. De Latour is focused on improving hospital sustainability efforts. She is the founder of the NYU Clinician Sustainability Advisory Board and the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at Bellevue Hospital Center.

Prof. Julio Iglesias-Garcia is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), and Head of the Endoscopy Unit at the Department of Gastroenterology, University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He is also the vice-president of EUROEUS, member of the Scientific Committee of ESGE and Treasure of the Spanish Society of Gastroenterology (SEPD).
Prof. Julio Iglesias-Garcia has published over 165 articles in International Journals, and 36 chapters on national and international books, mainly in the field of Endoscopy (EUS and its associated techniques) and Pancreatic Diseases.

He has a passion for advanced endoscopic procedures, therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic treatment of acid reflux and obesity. He has published numerous manuscripts on these topics and is very committed to teaching and engaging in clinical research.Additionally, he currently serves at the Medical Director of Innovative Interventional Endoscopy at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Dr. Komanduri is an internationally recognized expert in advanced endoscopy and Barrett's esophagus. He currently serves as the Associate Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Director of Endoscopy at Northwestern Medicine.
He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in Gastroenterology. Dr. Komanduri also serves as the Director of Endoscopic Training at Northwestern Simulation, working to enhances simulation and training for gastroenterologists and surgeons nationally and internationally.

Dr. Kumbhari's scientific research focus is on eliciting the underlying mechanisms of metabolic change observed after bariatric surgery and methods of liver-directed gene delivery. He has contributed to over 250 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and invited reviews, and speaks both nationally and internationally.

Nikhil A. Kumta, MD, MS is the Director of Surgical and Bariatric Endoscopy, an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Henry D. Janowitz Division of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Hospital.
He has clinical and research interests in minimally invasive endoscopic procedures and device innovation. Dr. Kumta is dedicated to his patients first while staying committed to teaching and research. His research has been recognized internationally and published in numerous high impact journals.
