Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, NJ, USA
During my gastroenterology fellowship I closely witnessed the suffering of most patients with advanced gastrointestinal disorders and malignancies, whether it be secondary to delayed access of care or the burden of travel that many individuals chose not to pursue for specialist care. This further ignited my passion to serve those who are most in need. I am certain that advanced GI will continue to evolve as a nexus between gastroenterology and oncology with outcomes far superior to surgical resection.
I feel fortunate to be a member of this revolutionary specialty and wish to pass my skills to to hundreds sharing the same mission.
